In a time of geopolitical pressure, fragmented markets, and rapid advances in artificial intelligence, European companies face a more fundamental challenge than access to innovation. The question is how to deploy it at scale.
The CVC | Open Innovation Summit brings together senior leaders responsible for capital allocation, strategy, and transformation across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. The focus is on execution: how corporates move from pilots to real impact, and how capital, governance, and regulation shape that process.
This is a closed, off-the-record format designed for candid exchange among peers. No staged discussions, no surface-level narratives — just a focused environment to address the constraints that matter and explore what needs to change.
Who should join? CxO and board-level executives, senior CVC leaders, heads of strategy and innovation, and members of investment committees.

The Summit is structured around a number of strategic core themes shaping corporate investment and transformation in Europe. The focus is on practical exchange and real-world constraints rather than formal presentations.
Key topics include:
Format highlights:
Working groups will be a central element of the Summit. Insights will be synthesized into post-event white papers, and, as seen in the U.S. Summit, are expected to lead to a small number of ongoing cross-corporate discussions focused on taking concrete action, including joint initiatives and coordinated capital deployment.
In partnership with IFA, participants will also have access to dedicated programming, including a curated VIP tour and selected highlights from one of the world’s leading technology platforms, connecting strategic discussions directly with market and technology signals.
The Summit is part of a broader effort to build the most trusted global platform empowering industry leaders to unite capital, innovation, and strategy to shape the future of business and society.
A detailed agenda will be shared with approved participants closer to the event.
This is not a traditional conference. The CVC | Open Innovation Summit is a private, invitation-based gathering designed for a small group of senior decision-makers shaping corporate venture, strategic capital, and transformation.
Participation is limited to approximately 80 carefully selected leaders — primarily CxO, SVP, and Head-of-level executives from Europe, the United States, and Asia — all directly responsible for capital allocation, innovation, or strategic direction.
Every application is reviewed personally by the organizing team. We do not accommodate delegation or substitutions. The quality of the dialogue depends on having the right level of responsibility and experience in the room.
If you are unsure whether this is the right fit, feel free to reach out. Otherwise, you are welcome to apply below.
The Summit takes place in close partnership with IFA, one of the world’s leading technology platforms. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with selected IFA programming, including curated highlights and dedicated access following the Summit.
This partnership reflects a broader ambition: to help build a stronger European innovation flywheel by connecting corporate leaders with key regional platforms. A curated delegation of senior leaders from the United States, including Miami, as well as from across Asia, in partnership with Asia Berlin, will join the Summit, reinforcing the cross-border exchange of perspectives, capital, and strategic priorities.
By working alongside institutions such as IFA, as well as academic, civic, and industry stakeholders, the Summit aims to contribute to a more integrated ecosystem, one that supports economic growth, resilience, and collaboration across regions.
At its core, this effort is about ensuring that leading organizations take an active role in shaping the future — aligning capital, innovation, and leadership to drive meaningful progress across Europe and beyond.
