About the summit

CVC | Open Innovation Summit Americas 2027

February 16-18, 2027 | Miami, Florida

Built by corporates. For corporates.

The CVC | Open Innovation Summit brings together a carefully curated group of 80-100 senior corporate decision-makers, investors and institutional leaders for candid conversations, peer exchange and collaborative working sessions.

Building on our gatherings across the Americas, Europe and Asia, we are moving beyond traditional corporate venture capital to address a broader question:

How can corporations better align capital, technology and strategy to accelerate deployment, build new markets and strengthen long-term competitiveness?

The Summit connects C-suite executives and senior leaders across corporate strategy, investment, corporate development, innovation and business transformation, bringing together those who shape strategic decisions with those responsible for putting them into practice.

More than a conference, this is an independent, non-commercial working forum focused on trusted exchanges, shared challenges and opportunities for practical collaboration.

Terms and Conditions

Participation Terms & Data Consent

By registering for the CVC | Open Innovation Summit, you agree to the following principles and terms.

1. Photo, Video & Audio

Photos, video, and audio recordings may be taken during the Summit and used by the organizers for documentation, reporting, communications, and promotion of the Summit and broader Platform, including websites, social media, publications, podcasts, and future event materials.

If you do not wish to appear in identifiable photography or recordings, please inform the organizing team before or during the event. Where reasonably possible, we will respect such requests.

2. Participant Information & Data

Your name, title, company, professional biography, participation, interests, and engagement with Platform activities may be used to facilitate relevant connections, curate gatherings and working groups, develop research, understand Platform impact, and improve future activities.

Selected professional information may be shared with other approved participants to facilitate meaningful exchange.

We do not sell participant data. Participant information may not be harvested, redistributed, or systematically used for unsolicited sales, marketing, fundraising, or lead generation.

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.

3. Trusted Community & Chain of Connection

The Platform is built on trust, reciprocity, and contribution, not transactional networking.

Participants are expected to contribute before extracting value, respect introductions, give appropriate credit, and help preserve the trusted nature of the community.

If a connection originating through the Summit or broader Platform leads to a meaningful collaboration, investment, commercial engagement, partnership, or other material outcome, we ask participants to inform the Platform and acknowledge the people who helped make that connection possible.

Honor the chain of connection. A simple thank you matters.

Where Platform relationships contribute to substantial commercial or financial value, parties may be invited to make an appropriate contribution supporting the Platform and its independent mission. Any required commercial arrangement will be agreed separately in writing and in accordance with applicable law.

4. Chatham House Rule, Confidentiality & AI

Summit working sessions operate under the Chatham House Rule unless stated otherwise. Information shared may be used, but neither the identity nor affiliation of the speaker or other participants may be disclosed without permission.

To protect the trusted nature of discussions, participants may not independently record, transcribe, scrape, or use automated or AI-based tools to capture closed-door sessions or participant information without prior authorization from the organizers.

The organizers may use authorized tools to support documentation, research, and Summit outputs, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards.

5. Research, Content & Community Use

The Platform may use aggregated and non-attributed insights emerging from Summits, working groups, surveys, and related activities to develop research, white papers, reports, benchmarking, podcasts, and other Platform content.

Confidential statements will not be attributed to an individual or organization without permission.

Platform activities are not sales or lead-generation environments. Unsolicited selling, systematic extraction of participant information, misuse of introductions, or participation primarily for commercial solicitation is inconsistent with the purpose of the community.

The organizers may restrict or exclude individuals or organizations whose conduct materially undermines its trust, confidentiality, reciprocity, or non-commercial character.

6. Continued Platform Engagement

Participation in a Summit is intended to be part of an ongoing relationship with the broader Platform.

The organizers may contact you with relevant Summit outputs, research, Signals & Strategy, Inside CVC content, future gatherings, working groups, surveys, requests for perspectives or expertise, introductions, and selected opportunities to contribute to or engage with Platform and executive initiatives.

We may use your professional interests, participation history, and engagement with the Platform to make these communications, introductions, and opportunities more relevant.

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time. Operational communications relating to your participation or an existing engagement may still be sent where appropriate.

Any separate commercial or advisory engagement arising from a Platform relationship will be subject to its own agreement where appropriate.

These details are used to review the application and to prepare the summit.
